Myrrh
Like Frankincense, Myrrh oil is extracted from resin that oozes from very tough bark of the small, thorny Myrrh tree which is native to some African and Middle Eastern countries . It has a sharp, strong, woody scent and has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine. Ancient Greek soldiers used to carry Myrrh oil into battle for psychic protection, as well as first aid. Aromatic influences: spiritual awareness, uplifting, soothing, releasing, opening.
