Our scented candles only come with natural ingredients.
For our scented candles we use exclusively rapeseed wax produced in Europe. Since the rapeseed plants we source from are grown in Europe, we can do without imports by container ship from afar, which further minimizes our carbon footprint. Even more, rapeseed plants also offer bees and other insects a valuable habitat through their beautiful yellow flowers. Slight waves on the surface are due to this type of wax and its natural crystallization.
And last but not least, our candles are made by hand with lots of love.

FAQ (frequently asked questions):
Q: Why are you not using soy wax?
A: Soy wax may be marketed as the environmentally friendly alternative these days,
but in reality the disadvantages outweigh the benefits: rainforests are cleared to grow soy.
In addition, 90% of the world’s soy is grown with genetically manipulated seeds and
soy wax must also be imported to Europe by container ship.
Q: Why is the surface of the candle sometimes a bit uneven?
A: After the first lighting and cooling of the candle, the surface may also show different crystallization and become uneven. This is not a quality defect, but a sign that the candle was manufactured without the addition of synthetic additives.
